So who is this guy with all the train pictures? Well, I am Brian Smith.

I am actually a meteorologist, but over the years, I have developed many

interests. One of my first and

foremost is trains. I collect model

trains (mainly HO Scale), and railroad

memorobilia. I enjoy photographing trains as well. In these pages, I will show you some photographs I have taken of various railroads, from locomotives, freight cars, right of way, and (yes) cabooses. Many photos were also taken by my father, the late Daniel Smith, who was also a railfan, and the reason I love trains.

On March 24, 2007, I was blessed enough to marry the greatest and truest friend I've ever had...my wife Sarah. Though she doesn't quite understand the attraction to railroads and trains, she's been very understanding, and very patient with me as I've pursued this hobby. Thank you sooo much Sarah...I love you!

Ok, here's how the site is organized... for the major railroads (SP, KCS, et. al), I have divided the locomotive photos according to manufacturer and classification. For the smaller roads, or for the railroads I have less than about 30 shots of, I have links to all locomotives on the same page.

I am still in the process of reorganizing the site. Look for more photos and special features soon. This is a continuing work in progress.
